GTM CAREERS - EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS

Medical/Dental Insurance

Health and dental insurance is available to GTM employees the first of the month following 90 days of employment. The following plans are offered:
     CDPHP

     Guardian Dental 
* Not all of the individual premiums are company paid. Employee pays remaining premium.

Employee/Family Cancer Protection Plan and Wellness Benefit

This program is designed to help with the potential out-of-pocket expenses associated with the treatment of cancer. A Wellness Benefit is also included that provides for one cancer screening per person per year.


Employee/Family Personal Accident Expense Benefit

This benefit provides cash to help pay for the costs associated with emergency and follow-up care resulting from accidental injury. Acceptance is guaranteed regardless of medical history.


Employee Disability Income Benefit

This insurance may help provide a source of income if you become disabled due to a sickness or off-the-job injury. Your current earnings, and the length of time that you choose to be covered determine the cost of this benefit. You must work at least 30 hours per week and earn $17,000 + annual income to pre-qualify for this benefit.


Flu Shots *When Available

GTM will have an onsite flu clinic for any interested employees who wish to be vaccinated.


401(K) Retirement Program

Expanded retirement plan for GTM. A Merrill Lynch investment advisor will provide mini-personal financial statements for each employee.


Group/ Term Life Insurance

$50,000 group term life benefit with company paid premium. Each employee will designate their own beneficiary.


Cafeteria Plans

  • Premium Only Plan (POP) - This allows you to pay for your insurance premium contributions with pre-tax dollars.
  • Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) - This expense account permits expenses paid to a dependent care provider for children under the age of 13 or for the care of another dependent that is physically or mentally incapable of caring for himself.
  • Un-reimbursed Medical or Dental Expense Account - Expenses that are not covered by insurance, including co-pays, co-insurances, and deductibles.

Paid Time Off - PTO

  • During the first year of employment, PTO hours accrue at 4.95 hours per pay period up to 104 hours
  • After one complete year of employment, PTO hours accrue at 6.86 hours per pay period up to 144 hours
  • After five years of employment, PTO hours accrue at 8.76 hours per pay period up to 184 hours

Credit Union Membership

GTM has several credit union programs to choose from, offered by First NY Credit Union and Sunmark Federatl Credit Union. Employees and their family members can join the creidt union of their choice and enjoy:

  • Lower fees and loan rates, and generally higher savings than you would receive at a bank
  • Totally free checking accounts
  • Free internet and telephone home banking options
  • Free electronic bill payment

Birthdays Off

Take the day off for some rest and relaxation on your special day! If your birthday falls on a weekend or company holiday, youll have the preceding (day before) business day off.


Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP is an employer-sponsored benefit provided at no cost to you and your household members. The EAP offers professional, qualified resources to assist you in resolving all types of personal or family related concerns. All contacts with the EAP are strictly confidential to the fullest degree provided by law, so your complete privacy is assured.


Dependent Care

A New England Nannys Pinch-Hitter Care Program is available to employees for emergency child and elder care in the event an employee would not be able to follow through with their work commitments.


Home PC Interest Free Loan
Any employee can request a loan to go toward the purchase of a home PC for your family.


Rental Car Discount Program
Receive special rates on car rentals through the Hertz Business Account for GTM.

 

**Note: Employees are eligible for health & dental after 30 days! All other GTM Benefits are available the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
